Organ Portal

PORTAL provides control of your pipe organ using computer touch screen. Any organ controlled by MultiSystem II is compatible with Portal. Our flexible configuration allows control of the entire organ from a MIDI keyboard, or even a simple console. The stops are displayed as space efficient rectangles rather than trying to mimic a real console’s stop knobs or tabs. The stop names are easy to read, and color coded by division. Portal also works directly with Capture for MultiSystem II, so that you can set your own pistons for comparing any ranks you would like. The ideal solution when console space is at a premium, Portal can control a few extra stops, or the entire organ!


Features

Additional Console

Many installations have a main console in one location with a second, remote console elsewhere. Portal provides you with complete control in your second, third, or fourth console, especially when the remote console is more compact or designed to be easily moveable. The Touch Screen can be easily detaches an stored, or permanently fixed in the stop jamb

Additional Stops to Existing Console

If more stops are added to an organ but there isn’t room on the console, Portal touch screens may be installed to access the new stops. The Portal controlled stops will be captured by the CFM just like real stop knobs.

Multi Plugin Points

Portal plugs into any of our standard MultiSystem II Plug In points. When a main console is not easily moved, a smaller, lighter console using Portal could be plugged into an additional location. Clients have found this especially useful when needing a small console “in the orchestra” for chamber music.

Customise Display

What is displayed by the Portal may be customized from an intuitive set-up screen. The colors for each division, the size and order of the stops and which divisions and stops are displayed are easily defined. Additionally you can have several layouts showing different divisions of the organ
